Organic Lawn Care Programs
Organo-Lawn uses 100% organic weed controls and fertilizers for our full season lawn care programs. Our programs are designed to fertilize the lawn, kill the weeds and stimulate the beneficial microbial activity in the soil. The all natural weed killers work fast and they kill difficult weeds like dandelions, mallow, thistle, etc. Full season program holders that water their lawns via the 1-2-3-2-1 lawn watering technique, will have a deep dark-emerald green colored lawn.
Organic lawn care programs offer several advantages over chemical lawn care plans. Obviously organic products are much safer for the environment, people, and pets; but organic fertilizers also stimulate microbial activity in the soil. Organo-Lawn customers usually have the nicest lawns in the neighborhood. Our customers typically use less water, have darker green grass, and have fewer lawn diseases compared to chemically treated lawns.

The Ultimate Lawn Care Program
The Ultimate Program includes is the best 5-applications weed control and fertilizer program.
The first application starts in March and the final application occurs in October. All 5 applications include organic weed controls and fertilizers.
1st Application – Synergy
With Corn Gluten Meal
Synergy with corn gluten meal is a 100% organic pre-emergent
weed control and all organic fertilizer that is
the foundation of the year. It will prevent weed seeds from germinating properly
and get the growing season started off on the right foot.
March 1st – April 15th
2nd Application – One Earth Weed Control
One Earth Weed Control is an all organic weed killer and fertilizer. This is the busiest time of year because all the dandelions are growing like crazy! During this time of year dandelions are a major problem, but One Earth will kill these pesky weeds quickly.
Late April – Early May
3rd Application – One Earth Weed Control
One Earth Weed Control -Typically at this time of year there are a lot of summer weeds that are starting to become a problem. We catch these weeds early in the growing season and the weeds turn black and die within a few days after the application.
Late June
4th Application – One Earth Weed Control
One Earth Weed Control – Typically in August there are a lot of weeds like black medic, plantain, thistle, purslane, oxalis, clover, etc. There is another round of dandelions, however, not as bad as they are in May. This application is designed to kill these problematic weeds.
August
5th Application – Synergy with Corn Gluten Meal
Synergy with corn gluten meal is a wonderful lawn winterizer and it is also a 100% organic pre-emergent weed control. The idea is that the more Synergy is applied the better it works. Therefore, if Synergy is applied in the fall and again in the spring, the lawn will have fewer weeds than if Synergy is only applied in the spring.

The Gold Plus Lawn Care Program
The Gold Plus Program is a wonderful 4-application weed control and fertilizer plan.
The Gold Plus Program is designed for customers that started after the April 15th cutoff date for the Ultimate Program.

Which types of weeds are NOT controlled?
The weed controls used in the Ultimate Program work exceptionally very if the lawn is being watered via the 1-2-3-2-1 lawn watering technique. There are a few difficult weeds that might need a special weed control. These weeds include crabgrass, and bindweed. If your lawn has crabgrass or bindweed we can control them by using Drive XLR8, which we apply only as needed for an additional charge. If your lawn has wild strawberry or wild violet we can get good control with an additional application of One Earth Weed Control 10 days after the May application.
Additional Lawn Care Services
A full season lawn care program includes only the weed control and fertilizer that a lawn needs. Lawns also need to be watered according to the 1-2-3-2-1 lawn watering technique, they need core aeration and don’t forget about your trees!
